Breathe!
...when nervous, anxious, fidgety...
Breathe deeply to regain inner tranquility.
This is how to bust distress!

When stressed, we often turn to vices
to raise serotonin and make us feel euphoric:

refined carbohydrates [candy, soda, chips], alcohol, drugs ...
ANYTHING to produce the feel-good brain chemical,
serotonin to escape anxiety.

Escaping reality is not all that bad! Just do it with deep breathing or walking.

And...what IS reality and what IS truly real, anyway?

BREATHE DEEPLY to escape your tense reality!

As you recently discovered,
exercise
stimulates the release of wonderful substances...
like endorphins, dopamine and serotonin...

...AS DOES BREATHING DEEPLY!!!

  • You can breathe deeply anywhere... anytime...
Deep meditative breathing requires focusing on proper breathing techniques. Allow the fresh air to fill your belly and watch your stomach expand. Hold it for a moment. RELEASE COMPLETELY. Compress more air out of your belly than you took in, originally. Feel the emptiness of your contracted tummy.

  • O.K. Now, start over.
    That was one deep breathe.
    Take three deep breathes
    for a complete attitude adjustment.

  •  Do you feel the serotonin coming on?
Just kidding...it takes a few more breathes than that!

The best part about breathing deeply,
is it is easy, it is free and gets you out of your head,
and into the spirit of who you are! That is special!!
