Yes! You can.
That's the name of the game. You simply
trust messages your stomach is sending.
Eat
small meals and your stomach muscles shrink!
Cut your meals in half!!! Even after one meal, your stomach can shrink, or stretch... depending on
the size of the meal.
If you cut portions in half stomach muscles will shrink. As a result,
you feel full with less food. Honor your stomach.
Stretching it out is a bad idea!
It
is natural to become hungry every 3-5 hours
If you have eaten enough protein, carbohydrate and fat in
just the right portions.
Your body knows when it is time to eat ...and
when your stomach has had enough food.
Just
tune in and you can hear its conversation:
"My body needs sustenance". "Stop! I have
had enough!" So, listen and begin to trust your Self. It takes some practice. Remember: I was bulimic for 18 years. So, if I
could do it, so can you. It is all about breathing properly &
remaining in touch
with your physical, mental and spiritual needs.
Get in touch with cravings.
Are you craving protein because
you need to think clearly and be mentally productive?
Are you craving carbohydrate to
raise serotonin, in order to calm down and relax?
Are you craving calcium-rich
foods and dark chocolate? Perhaps it is "that time" of the
month. Calcium is needed to relax your muscles to reduce cramps,
while the chocolate increases endorphins and serotonin to manage
moodiness.
Are you craving water because
you are dehydrated? [You may ACTUALLY be thirsty.]
When
I was seriously bulimic, I used food to self-medicate my anxiety with
carbohydrates. Now that I trust my Self, I know when to eat and how
much to eat, intuitively, without counting Calories. And when I overdo it
-- as we all occasionally do, I think nothing of it. I hydrate and eat
healthier at the next meal, with lots of vegetable roughage to move it
through the intestinal tract. So, if you have stuffed your Self silly,
just wait to be truly hungry before eating again...
I advocate freedom
of expression of one's own unique eating pattern. "Dieting
sucks". Dieting leads to overeating and binges. Strict dieting
is a form of self-starvation and leads to an obsession with food... and a
sense of deprivation.
It
is crucial to nurture yourSelfwith premium fuels. To select superior
cuisine [, i.e., conscious cuisine
& therapeutic cuisine], educate your Self to know the
difference. That is part of my mission in this lifetime... to educate you
about your choices!
C'mon.
Do something different:trust
your Self.
Eat only when you are
physically hungry. It
is called Innate
Wisdom
...and it works well if you hear
it and decide to act upon it.
